Cardamom Banana!!!!!! Probably the most brilliant Vieux Carré Riff I’ve ever had. High praise for this one you’re going to love it. Also for some goddamned reason in this video I keep referring to the restaurant as Benne On Green and really the damned restaurant is Called Benne On Eagle. Why do I do this? I have no idea, I sometime perplex myself as much as I perplex you guys 😂 but the restaurant is indeed called Benne On Eagle and if ya’ll are in Asheville go check it out! I’ll be in North Carolina real soon and you bet your ass I’ll be there! Anyway I brace myself for the ball breaking to come. Hope you love this drink as much as I did.

.75oz (20ml) Rye Whiskey
.75oz (20ml) Cognac
.25oz (7.5ml) Creme de Banane
.25oz (7.5ml) Cardamom Syrup
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
4 Drops Cardemom Bitters
Lemon Twist

For The Cardamom Syrup:
Add 5g Green cardamom pods or 1 tsp powdered cardamom to 200ml Simple Syrup allow to simmer 5 minutes then infuse for 24 hours. Strain into a clean container, lasts 2-3 weeks.
