Let’s talk about cocktail bitters, you’ll find cocktail bitters “dash” out in 1 ml increments, the sazerac cocktail calls for 5 dashes of bitters, but it’s a blend of Angostura bitters and Peychaud bitters. Because of the use of Absinthe, you’ll get a bit of a black licorice “anise” flavor on the backend; also, Peychaud bitters brings that too. So, that doesn’t help if you’re against the flavor profile.
