Tiki Made Easy: Blown Off Course #Shorts #riff #tiki

This cocktail can be described as a riff on a Mai Tai, which came out need rather than design. I purchased new bottles of rum to replace those that were on their last legs.

But I only have room for a few bottles, so I need to get rid of the rest of these rums. Therefore, I came up with the drink on the fly, and when I tasted it, I said, “Wow! This kind of tastes like a Mai Tai that was blown off course.” Thus, the drink was named:

Blown Off Course
An original cocktail by Rum Runner Dan Genovese

1.0 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1.0 oz. Fresh Blood Orange Juice
0.75 oz. Orgeat (homemade)
4 dash Aromatic Bitters
0.50 oz. Falernum
1.0 oz. Rhum Agricole VSOP
1.5 oz. Black Blended Overproof Rum

Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with a small amount of crushed ice (about 4oz.). Whip shake until you cannot hear the ice in the shaker. Open-pour into a tiki mug. I used my handsome Rutherford Zombie mug from Pie Eyed Tikis. Fill to the top with crushed ice.

Sip and enjoy. Please give this drink a try like this video and comment below with what you think, and don’t forget to hit the Subscribe button to join the expedition!
