Why I drink THIS | The Tale of the Bitters Shot

In this video I tell you all about the Angostura bitters shot. Angostura is used in lots of classic cocktails, but not so many people know about the story of Tom Nelsen and how he was able to adapt during prohibition to continue serving alcohol because of Angostura bitters. Where I’m from, drinking Angostura has become a tradition, and now I want to pass it on to you. In Door County, Wisconsin, shooting bitters is a part of history. The bitters shot has been a favorite of mine for a long time. If you have a bottle of Angostura bitters, I invite you to join me. Cheers!
