How to make a Spicy Margarita | First Choice Liquor



This margarita is the perfect drink to spice up your next dinner party. All you need is jalapeño-infused tequila, Cointreau, and fresh lime juice to have your guests sweating for more!

The Spicy Margarita*:
• 180mls tequila
• 90mls Cointreau
• 90mls fresh lime juice
• 30 mls simple syrup
• Ice
• Jalapeños (to infuse tequila, to garnish)
• Lime (to garnish)
• Salt (to garnish)
• Chilli seasoning (to garnish)

Add slices of jalapeño to a bottle. Pour in tequila and leave to infuse (5-10 hours, or overnight). Fill a pitcher halfway full with ice. Add jalanpeño-infused tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and simple syrup to pitcher and stir to combine. Spread salt on a plate, add chilli seasoning and mix together. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and crust with salt/chilli mixture. Add a few large ice cubes to your rimmed glass. Strain in your cocktail until it reaches the crust. Add spent lime wedges and more jalapeño slices to garnish. Enjoy!
