How to make a Summer Rum Punch | First Choice Liquor



Yo ho ho and a pitcher of rum! The whole crew will love this summer punch recipe, and it’s super easy to make. Just follow this formula: 1 part sour, 2 parts sweet, 3 parts strong, 4 parts weak.

Summer Rum Punch (serves 4):
• 60mls lemon juice
• 120mls pineapple juice
• 180mls spiced rum (like Sailor Jerry)
• 220mls ginger beer
• 4 dashes Angostura bitters
• Limes (wheels for garnish)
• Ice

Fill a pitcher with ice. Add lemon and pineapple juice, spiced rum, and ginger beer. Add a few dashes of Angostura bitters and garnish with some lime wheels. Stir to combine. When you’re ready to serve, pour punch over fresh ice and garnish glasses with individual lime wheels. Enjoy!

Refreshing Summer Spritzer:
The batch:
• 3 parts Hendricks gin
• 2 parts Vero aperitivo
• 1 part grenadine

The spritz:
• 30mls prepared batch
• 60mls sparkling wine
• 30mls essenza (sparkling water)
• 10mls lemon juice
• Ice
• Cucumber (to garnish)

Prepare your gin, aperitif, grenadine batch using a 3-2-1 ratio. In this video, our batch serves 6 people, so Luke used 90mls of gin, 60mls of Vero, and 30mls of grenadine for 180mls total liquid.

When you’re ready to serve, add lemon juice to a large wine glass. Add cocktail batch and top with sparkling wine and essenza or sparkling water in a flavour of your choice. Fill glass with ice and garnish with a few slices of cucumber. Enjoy!
