Liquor Glassware Comparison – Part 1

In this video I’m trying to showcase how glassware can really make a difference in a spirit. I pour the exact same spirit (Clase Azul Reposado Tequila) into 7 different glasses and give you notes on how the glasses perform. The glasses in this video are: The Hinkle Nosing Glass ($10-$15), The Norlan Glass ($48 for a set of 2), The Glencairn Whisky Glass ($10), Stolzle Nosing Glass ($10-$15), The Copita Glass ($10), Luigi Bormioli Spirit Snifter ($37 for a set of 6), and the Riedel Ouverture Tequila Glass ($10-$15). Regardless if you’re into Single Malts, Blends, Bourbons, Rums, etc…, the way the spirit represents itself in these glasses will be similar.

As of 02-2017, my current bottle count stands at over 2,400 bottles. I am a Certified Specialist of Spirits and have also been certified by the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT). I’ve been actively collecting for the last two decades and what started as a small basic home bar has transformed (with the help and understanding of my wonderful wife) into what I think is a pretty nice collection. Thank you for watching and sharing in my passion.
Cheers!
