Spicy, sweet and chewy: jeyuk bokkeum aka. korean spicy stir-fried pork combines everything my taste buds asked for dinner. The recipe is super easy to make in 20 minutes. If you want to make sure that the marinade gets thoroughly absorbed into the pork belly, you can put aside the marinated meat for 30 minutes and voilĂ ! Instead of cooking rice, I added some freestyled chinese chilli oil noodles with bok choi. Muchos love, Saebom

Recipe (for 500g pork belly slices)

For marinade
2 tbsp gochujang
1 tbsp gochugaru
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp korean cooking wine or soju, if available
a pinch of pepper

And add some sliced onions, green onios and red and/or green chilli peppers. Mix the ingredients in a big bowl, add the pork belly slices and mix again. Set aside the mixture for 30 minutes, if you want the meat absorb the marinade thoroughly. Stir-friy. Enjoy!
