What Do You Need To Make a Strawberry Margarita Sangria
This drink involves making a strawberry syrup and a margarita sangria. To make both parts of this yummy drink you will need:
- Frozen strawberries
- Fresh strawberries
- Triple sec
- Lime Juice
- White wine
How Do I Make a Sangria?
Traditionally sangria is made with a few simple ingredients:
- rum or brandy
- sliced fruit
- sugar or simple syrup
We like to make our sangrias in a less traditional way. We opt to combine different liquors with the wine, and mix things up with other flavors like different juices and fruits.
Spin on Classic Sangria
Typically sangria sits overnight to let all the flavors combine. In this recipe, we are serving it right away so that you can enjoy the sweet, fizzy goodness. While the strawberries provide a lot of natural sweetness, using a sweet white wine such as Moscato can make the drink even sweeter.
If you wanted to make it more like the classic, you could combine the strawberry syrup, tequila and fruit overnight and then add in the wine right at the last minute.
